Turning a stream of asks into reasoned enter, wait and decline calls
Handling the requests that arrive from sales, support, customers and executives — each captured in the requester’s own words, clarified to the need beneath it and assessed against the current plan. The work runs from writing down the round’s requests and merging duplicates, through an enter, wait or decline call for each with its reason, until every requester has a drafted reply.
Its purpose is to keep the agreed priorities from being rewritten by whoever asks loudest. An escalated request that slips in unexamined costs something already planned, and a request that is never answered teaches the people who raised it that asking is pointless.
