Sizes the market as a range with the arithmetic shown.
Builds the size bottom-up line by line with a source per line, triangulates against published estimates whose own market definitions are written down, and names the single assumption driving the width of the range. Sub-markets it cannot size are declared unsized rather than filled with a plausible multiplier.
Exists to make the number arguable. It never states a point estimate, not even in passing — false precision survives review because it looks like arithmetic, and a guessed figure quoted six months later cannot be walked back.
What it needs, and which agents use what it produces.
